- Enhance the color in your video You can enhance the color or repair color issues in your video with the Lumetri Color effect. Adjusting the color of video footage can be viewed as a technical process or a process designed to help set the mood and create the feeling in a shot.
- Introducing two new techniques that use AI to improve photos, both new and old. Learn how a transformer-based method greatly improves low-resolution photos and how a new variational autoencoder method restores old photos with a modern touch.
The quality of output from Video Enhance AI is simply better than any other product available. Video Enhance AI was trained using a neural network that analyzes thousands of video pairs to learn how details usually get lost. Unlike Gigapixel AI for photos, Video Enhance AI is able to extrapolate more. Filmora Video Editor - How to Enhance Video Quality from Different Aspects You have the best choice for enhancing your video with ease once this software is among your top choices. With Filmora Video Editor for Windows (or Filmora Video Editor for Mac ), you will be up to enjoying some of the best and advanced editing tools as well as features.

How many times have you heard somebody say 'enhance that!' in various cop shows over the years, as the good guys huddle over a screen looking at grainy footage, struggling to i.d. the bad guys?
Well now the ability to do so is just a neural network away and ironically those shows themselves are about to be enhanced!
Speaking of television, 90% of all video content ever created is now becoming obsolete by the standards of modern television. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and network broadcasters are struggling to find or create 4K content to keep up with the demand meanwhile, we as consumers have invested our hard earned dollars in ultra HD TV's so our expectations are high!
As an example, the Lion King was Disney's first movie to leverage computers and a digital workflow. The lines for each frame were still sketched by hand, but the drawings were scanned and then painted digitally using a computer. As a result, there's no original source material that can be rescanned at 4K which is how this type of upgrade has traditionally been done. Certainly, back in the early 90's, 2k seemed like a very future proof resolution to the decision makers at Disney. Oh how the times have changed.
The movie industry is littered with similar examples dating back as far as 30 years, where live action analog film has been fused together with digitally created visual effects in a symbiotic relationship that makes it impossible to simply rescan old content.
If we switch focus to the world of animation, rendering accounts for a large part of the time and cost that goes into a HD production. With the recent hike in demand for 4K content, this effectively quadruples the average $500k rendering budget for a 90 minute HD feature.
Animated television series aren't just 90 minutes long, they're 11 minutes times 52 episodes, or 572 minutes. With distributors like Netflix and Amazon making 4K a requirement, this means that either profits go down or rendering quality suffers.
How can neural networks fix these problems? Let's walk through this process with a real world example. Here's an input image:
The standard industry approach today is to use bicubic interpolation to increase the resolution of the image and then we sharpen it using signal processing. It's a very subtle improvement, however as signal processing can't add new details to the image, it can just emphasize the details that are already there.
This is the reason that video remastering is largely a manual process today and rarely performed, reserved primarily for use on high value content. Ideally it would be great if we could easily and effectively up-res and remaster both old and new video content, it just hasn't been technically possible. Until now that is…
Deep Learning is the latest and most successful wave of Artificial Intelligence (AI). As the name would suggest, Artificial Neural Networks are inspired by mathematical models of the brain and visual cortex. They are composed of layers of neurons which transmit signals based on their connections. When shown enough examples these networks act as universal function approximators that are able to learn complex functions from input to output.
This new Deep Learning way of doing things can achieve something that was science fiction just a few years ago. Neural Networks can actually form their own imagination and hallucinate new plausible details where they didn't otherwise exist in the original image and the difference is pretty striking.
The results are impressive and thanks to AI, this capability is now available to the wider market and not just large movie producers. The price point is well within any production budget for e-commerce, advertising or other short form pieces. Meanwhile, because the work has been automated using software and does not depend on human beings, the turnaround times have collapsed, making this far more practical.
This article discusses a number of the components of Material Remaster, one of the most exciting modules of ArtEngine. Material Remaster allows you to increase the native resolution of an image without any loss of quality, by hallucinating new materials and details using a neural network. Primarily focusing on images, this module thus enables you to breath new life into old or poor quality content. Discover more about Material Remaster as well as the other modules of ArtEngine, Artomatix's award-winning creative AI software.

Case 1: 'How do I increase my video resolution from 480p to 720p. I am uploading my video on Youtube. Any program, maybe?'
Case 2: 'I have a video file (MP4) of 176X 144 resolution and is going to make a VCD with this file. But it'll become blurry when watching on TV. So can I improve the resolution or video size?'
Resolution refers to the number of pixels per unit of the area displayed on a screen and is usually expressed as width × height. There are 3 commonly used video resolutions: Standard Definition (SD), High Definition (HD), and 4K (UHD). 720p, for instance, is usually known as HD resolution and contains 1280 x 720 pixels.
To enhance video quality, sometimes you need upscale video resolution. Since Windows or Mac doesn't come with a default resolution enhancer, this post will introduce 2 effective video quality enhancers to increase video resolution without losing quality. You can use the software to enhance CCTV video image, improve dark video, upscale 480p to 720p/1080p/4K, and more.

Why Does Changing Video Resolution Help?
There are mainly two reasons why you want to change the video resolution.
Improve video quality. High video resolution usually means high video quality, thus increasing resolution is one way to enhance the video and get better picture quality.
Resize a video for a specific mobile device, TV, or video player. For example, you have a video of 640*480 resolution on the iPhone, but your Samsung Smart TV can only support playing MPEG1 video in 1920*1080 resolution. To play the video on the Smart TV, you may want to convert low resolution to high resolution.
Best Video Resolution Enhancer to Improve Video Quality
Improving video resolution could enhance video quality but video resolution is not the only factor that decides video quality. Therefore, instead of simply changing video resolution, FonePaw Video Converter Ultimate can make video quality better in four ways:
Work as a video upscaler to upscale resolution in one click;
Convert low-resolution video to high resolution, such as convert SD video to HD, convert video to 4K;
Adjust brightness and contrast to improve dark video quality;
Reduce shaking to stabilize videos and denoise video and make video clearer;
Improve the light and color balance of a video by adjusting hue, saturation, brightness, and contrast.
It supports video in a wide range of formats (MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4, FLV, and MP3, WAV, M4A, WMA, 3GP, MJPEG, etc.). With this video resolution converter, you can enjoy SD videos in a bigger screen with higher quality, enhance low quality CCTV footage, fix a blurry video, brighten dark videos, convert old/DVD video to HD, etc.

Step 3. Convert Video to Higher Resolution
Click Enhance and the program will output the final result directly. You will see a prompt saying the video enhancement is completed and the enhanced video will pop out automatically. Click OK to close or click Enhance again to make further improvement.
Optional Steps to Improve Video Quality:
If the video is too dark, tick 'Optimize Brightness and Contrast' to brighten up the video.
If the video is blurry or shaky, choose 'Remove video noise' or 'Reduce video shaking' before clicking Enhance.
After the video is enhanced and outputted, you can add it back to the Video Converter and click 'Edit', a star icon beside the video, you can then adjust brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation of the video to make the video quality better.
If you have videos shot by interlaced video cameras and need to view the interlaced videos on PC or mobile device, tick Deinterlacing, which can significantly upgrade the quality of a video.
What Else Can Video Converter Ultimate Do?
Other than video quality enhancers, FonePaw Video Converter Ultimate is also a video converter program. Besides converting normal video to HD or even 4K video, the video converter can also convert the video into the formats that certain devices support.
